Den 4 februari 2017 träffades vi hos Agne Pettersson i Hagby-Vallby för att få ta del av kunskapen som våra duktiga instruktörer Sten Johansson och Janne Lundell ville dela med sig av.

Sten startade dagen med att visa och instruera oss i hur man kan fästa en reptöm i en lädertöm, förra gången fick lära oss att sy fast ett spänne och hur man skarvar läder för att få det både hållbart och snyggt.

Det tar sin stund att sy i läder för hand, så efter fikat tog Janne över och visade hur vi skulle göra för att splitsa grimskaft och även hur man taglar ett rep.

Något som kan vara väldigt användbart och grimskaften i handeln idag är sällan av så bra kvalitet som ett riktigt hamparep är.
